In the first phase of the competition, the jury rated Tengrinews.kz 8.25 out of 10 which put the website ahead of the competitors (Kinozavr.kz 7.67 points and Forbes.kz 7.22 points). This is the third time Tengrinews.kz wins the Grand Prix of Awards.kz and becomes the Best Mass Media website. In 2012 Tengrinews.kz was named the Best Website of the Decade.
Vesti.kz won the first place in the Sports, Medicine, Health, Traveling and Leisure category. The Japanese restaurant website Kiku Matsuri (Kikumatsuri.kz) won the second place and Sports.kz got the third place. In 2012 Vesti.kz lost to Sports.kz and received the second place. This year Vesti.kz was able to improve its browsing experience and won.
